FAILED TO DOWNLOAD Version.ini

i dont know whether or not this problem has been resolved in the past but, i decided to download cf onto my desktop instead of playing on my laptop. After installing, I went to run the patcher and the message "Failed to download version.ini" popped up.

Help would be much appreciated
