Other games and gamers are helping Japan too :D

Anyone that plays Team Fortress 2 might be aware that they also were doing a fundraiser to help Japan recover from the Earthquake and Tsunami. They basically sold permanent Japanese themed hats, with bigger/better hats for larger donations, and all profits went towards the relief efforts. Whats really amazing, though, is how much money they have raised: with still a week left in the fundraiser, Valve has raised upwards of 300,000 dollars! I personally just think it's great that both video game companies and players are doing so much to help out Japan through hard times. WTG, everyone. :D

  • Yet Valve is losing to Mojang in March Madness Polls.

Anyway, it is good to see companies helping out, it goes to show that even if it is a small amount, alot of people pitch in for other human beings in a time of a crisis.

Though, we should be helping in various other parts of the world as well, but I guess every little bit will add up to something bigger one day.

    Minecraft FTW.

Yay! Japanese peopleare the most prepared people when an earthquake comes. If the eathquake did that much damage to Japan, imagine it in unprepared countries. It's good people are helping them. :D
