Clean PC Solves all CF issues.
I had a couple of lagg issues on ventrilo and download issues.
It was like my download was limited to 10kilo bites / sec which sucks
and my ventrilo ping was always 28k.
But in CF ping was 95 which was wierd.
I tried running a software called VMWare just to make sure that the problem is in my windows version.
Opened a virtual PC and everything was fine on it
so i pull out the stack of dusty CD's and reinstalled windows XP.
Buying 7 tomorrow.
Anyways it solved alot of my issues not sure if it solved any crossfire issues but i'll check and tell you.
My only cf issue is that i could'nt go into UK Clan Server without DC'ing while joining a channel.
And it was soooooo slow joining rooms and stuff.
Edit all i have on my pc now is Ventrilo and crossfire.
PC running smooth as ever.
If you're facing alot of issues and can't fix them just reinstall windows.

10kb limited download? you on string internet?
No i have my own modem or router or w/e conected to it with cable not wireless.
It was really wierd how i still got the same ping on crossfire but limited download speed.
I tried using different web browsers and stuff.
The thing is when i ran the virtual machine and downloaded something the downlaod speed was 120kb/s which is my normal.
So i suspected it was something in my system's version or something. -

Already get 250 FPS in 8v8 so 125 FPS is ok with me.
Edit: My brother just told me that they give away windows 7 CD's at his University for free.
I can already imagine the scene:
You: where can I get the free CDs?
Randy: over there *points over there*
You: kthxbai
*you go over there verry gratefull the dude could point you where over there was*
The dude in charge of the free CDs: What'll it be for you? A free win7 CD?
You: yes, please.
Him: Ok so that will cost you $200
You: arg...
Or if it were true anybody could call friends to claim a free CD and they could make easy money.
I bet he meant they have a universal serial which they can use as many times as they wish. That's how it normally works in schools.
I've got 200+ fps, never drops under 200 yet I use win7 64bits and don't have what you could call an awesome or even good rig. I call it decent:

The peripherals are what's good on my pc though. I'm saving up for 2*4 gig G skill and will head for a new GPU after (if I get a job it'll be a HD6990 otherwise a HD6950).

Doesn't 7 32bits only fully use 3gig? My father has a 32bits one with 4gig and it only coumts 3. I'd heard it was 4 when 7came out though.
How precise can HD5700 series be o_O?
I'm guessing it's a HD5770 coz that's the cheap one to go with.
Btw the dude with 30fps. 30 is playable I used to play at 5-15 on a 9inch screen. -
It's a 5770. Runs every game I've played with no lag maxed out. My next step is and 6870 I'm thinking.Crackin.... How precise can HD5700 series be o_O?

A CF of HD 5770 or 6870?
If 6870 don't just get a 6950 or a 6970.
CF the 5770s if you aren't worried about it only being 128bits when all those above are 256 and so are older nvidias.
You payed it ~$200 or did you get it after the price cut? Now you can easily get one for $100-130.
Eyeaffinity for CF? We don't even have 1920*1080 which is a standard nowadays. Using 3 monitors would leave you two blacl while in game and you couldn't even use them for videos while ig... -

Oops typo thanks for the correction 6970 what i wanted to type. 6990 looks amazing but not worth 700$ imo. If i was to crossfire would be two 5770's. But may be worth going the route of just a single 6970. -
I quit CF. I just roll round the forum. Also note CF in Eyefinity will display 3 windows on all the monitors.(Buddy has Eyefinity going.) I want it for Racing games, and BFBC2 looks amazing in Eyefinity.
