New Laptop

Alright, I'm also looking to get a new laptop in the near future (hopefully).

I'm not a tech person at all and I'm not getting it to just play cf. I need it for work but I would also like to play some Cross Fire on it without taxing the computer too much.

I'm not made of money, so something $500 or less would be ideal, if possible.

Any ideas? Just interested in seeing what some of you say since it seems like there are some computer savvy people here.
