Getting Rid Of Hackers Solution
First of all, I wasnt here in "subagames time" to see how many hackers where back then and how bad the situation was. Frankly, I dont care, they are not here anymore, CF has much more followers than back then, basically the game just evolved and Im sure the new owners make much more money than "subagames" did back in the day.
Seeing the hacking situation rocketing out of control, the inefficiency of the support system ( its not bad, just it takes a lot of time to actually see a person get ban due to your report -- and i am sure it is also abused a lot) I want to point out quite a radical solution. One that will surely work in quite a short period of time.
Stop the creation of new accounts, except from Friend Invite. In the meantime continue baning hackers accounts to the point where they will need to create new ones in order to hack or just hack with their high ranked accounts ( most have them are not new to this game and have higher accounts ).
If one person invites a hacker (thats get banned permanently), the one who invited him gets 7 Day Ban - and removal of invite right for 30 days. If after that period, that guy invites another hacker, increase the number of banned days to 30.
People will be more carefull who they invite into the game and this will make the community more united against hackers.
If you apply this method, Im sure that in about 2-3-4 weeks ( depending how fast you ban hackers) the game will be cleared of them. Not because hacks will not exist, but because they cannot make new accounts and will be forced to stop hacking or just hack with their higher ranked ones, which will lead to a ban for those as well.
Basically, make people understand they will actually loose something if they break the rules and hack.
And yes I understand your concern that new players , who dont hack, wont get the chance to join the game. They will be able to get invited by people, because people want those rewards, especially if the player is a legit one. If not, well, you shouldnt invite him unless you are sure he wont hack. Each gain has its own risks.
Stop thinking about the money you are making from ZP buyers, if you really care about this game and keeping it clean, do something radical like this. It doesnt have to be permanent, just temporary untill people understand they have a responsability for their actions in and out of the game!
Please post your input on this matter, because i dont think this has been suggested before. Maybe z8 thought about something like this, but are afraid of losing players. Tell us your opinion so we can make a difference!!
Peace.

Make it simple, z8games create a daily mission, find and report a real hacker.
================================================
No, they don't, because the reviwer will have more work to do.
And when they complains about lots of false reports, they also missed several apparent hacker report.
So the main problem is not how good your idea is, it is mainly because none of the idea is considered.
=======================================
Just play with your friends, you will not be annoyed by hackers, and need not waste your time to report the hackers. -

Dude, you didnt read all i said. Ill put it in steps:
1.Clean account -> invite 2-3 hack accounts.
2. The 2-3 hack accounts get banned (z8 responsible for this)
3.From number 2, the clean account gets a 7,30 or 60 day ban and removal of invite posibilities.
4. No more accounts to invite from or to hack with.
In time this method will clean hackers and make then impossible to aquire new accounts!
Logic, my friends! -
StealthyKiller wrote: »Well what if the person you invited was clean, got tired of being a noob and decided to hack? Is it your fault then? So...yeah kinda annoying if someone you invite decides to become a bigger noob and hack.
Yeah, don't invite people you don't trust. If you do, and they get banned you also get a 7 day ban. If you repeat the process you get 30 day ban.
I believe people will learn their lesson after the first 7 day ban and stop inviting hacker idiots. -
It's a good thought, but there are too many flaws.
Z8 likes to advertise CrossFire as being open to everyone and free to play, not some exclusive club.
What if you invited a friend and they decided to hack and you didn't know? Then you get banned? That doesn't seem fair.
Likewise, the two infamous hacking sites would just invite themselves thousands of accounts and fulfill requests for an invite.
So for the current time, it'd be best if they kept issuing IP bans (only so many people can actually change their IP address by the way.) Until X-Trap gets their stuff together and finds out how the hacks are being made.
But on be-half of the community (and probably Z8) we appreciate your thoughts towards the issue! -
Well, it's not going to happen, since the main slogan from CF in those advertisements is "easy to get in, easy to install and easy to have fun with your friends" .-.
Getting the account registering closed, will not only get that slogan out, but will also give CF a damm bad fame, being "the game who had to close their inscriptions due to the hacking situation".
Also, people will tend to hide more the cheats and hacks they're using, using chams or some other not so detectable cheats
Well, good intention, tough ^^ -

Thanks. Honestly having a open game is good, but think about it.
New players sees CF advertisment. Downloads. Installs. Registers. Logs in. What does he have? M16 & M700 and too little GP to buy a decent weapon. I will asume he is bad at the game + a bad weapon + 1 hit killers/other hackers = Delete Crossfire.
Personally Ive invited about 3-4 people who mainly play CS to swith to CF, but after 1-2 games they refused saying its sucks. I flamed them a little, but there might be some truth to it. Not really new user friendly. If you can remember back in the day you got 50k GP and you could buy the M4A1 as a smiley.
edit: sorry for the spelling mistakes, its late and im beat

Yeah.... just a tad bit radical... You know what Im saying?
Best way to solve hacker problem: Ping cap server and Better Hack detection
Also.... On another side note, Read my signiture, read it twice. Although theses games that I will mention are nothing like CF, games like Maplestory and Wolfteam, they stay on top of things; have patchs weekly, Whereas CF has patchs monthly.
CF just needs to harrass the **** out of the hacking detection company they hired and tell them to get on top of things.
Its very simple.
Better Hacking detection = Better Game = More Players = More Money = Better Quality Game
If CF folllowed this VERY SIMPLE to understand concept, alls would be good. But then again, the Hacking/Anti Hack war is a never ending cat and mouse situation. -

oh dear sweety, we had those changes because the ammount of m,ulti accounts was too big, and to incentivate people to rank up in one account, they've done it so people would have to play like, 5~9 games and then rank up to private i think, and receive the 10k GP bonus, so they would be able to buy the m4a1 :]
But well, we lost GP since Z8games didn't compensated the GP we lost in the new acc's on a later rank, gotta suggest that
but yeah, it's pretty much all about marketing, CF is a business

Yeah, we did lose that 10k GP back then. They should give rewards to higher ranks as well. If 100.000 kill ribbon and so many others are farmer oriented, rewards at higher levels wont bother anyone.
I understand the 1 account thing, but Im not sure if it really works. Think of new players these days and their lack of interest towards finding something out. Most of them like their stuff handed out to them, instead of working for it. And yes, you are true about the marketing part, it is a business. -
As Smoky The Bear Once Said! only you can Prevent Forest Fires!
but on topic.... Only You Can Prevent Hacks Being Used Ingame!
Report People using Hacks, and If you come across Any Websites Hosting Hacks Report them. The Sites will have to remove the hacks as they Mod the Game. Less Sites Hosting Hacks = Less People downloading them and using them. and it will make the hack Creators allow less people to use them Thus cutting the Hacks Down even more -
Personally, I would shoot all this f*** that use cheats. They are not hackers, just brainless beginners that did few copy/paste moves and think that they are better than the rest of us.
If I were in management of Z8 games, I would put a virus in update when online game system detects cheat in one computer that would stop game from working on that computer and, even in case it is reinstalled, it should leave certain files deep in the system that will prevent it from working again until the whole system is reinstalled. Also, the online game system should block that IP in 30 days for the first time and permanently in case it happens again.
I know that Z8 is concerned about losing players, but they will lose lot more this way. I used to play this game for hours every day, now I am playing it once in three days for about half an hour! You do the math and see what is more rentable.
