Is this cheating?

I want to make the 'V' key on my keyboard a macro for the '~' key (the Tactical Map) so it's within easy and safe ingame reach.

But as patch after patch you're still not allowed to change the key ingame, is going about it this way a form of cheating on any level?

hmmmm

I guess I'm using my keyboard's driver.
I got a Razer Lycosa keyboard, on which you can set macros and gaming profiles using the Razer Lycosa Config driver ofcourse.

If its built into the keyboard/mouse then no. Using a separate program in conjunstion with Crossfire is cheating

Well.
As Giggle said if it's a macro key built in the keyboard then it's ok.

But using scripts and 3rd party programs like Auto.... (Won't say the full name of the program) is totally forbidden.

WASD for movement, E to "use" Q for quickswitch, tab for scoreboard, shift for walk,
ctrl for crouch, space for jump, right click for secondary gun options.

The default for every FPS

UK keyboards are different. the "~" key is next to Enter
