Unfortunately with only 12 winners and over 1300 videos inevitably not everyone was going to win.
This was a judged contest and therefor will always have controversy surrounded by it because some people thought no matter what, they deserved to win.
Your video had a creative use of the "film" motif. However it was mostly unedited in-game footage of random modes. You used everything from SnD to Mutation to Ghost to TDM. It was difficult to place a video like this in a category for winning compared to some of the other entries we received.
Unfortunately we can't "critique" every one of the 1300+ videos personally otherwise we'd be writing until next year.
We thank you for your entry, and you'll just have to keep at it and try again for the next time we do them!
edit: Should also note, the views had absolutely nothing to do with the judgment. And that you're posting this nearly 2 weeks after the final votes were in. Most of those winning videos have a lot of views now because we've featured them on facebook/forums/site. -

You have a higher chance of winning if it was based completely on one Category.(Normal play or GM/MM/ESC.)
Now yeah there was over 1000 entries and hey. We all gave it our best shot. I personally thought id win too, but hey I didnt mind. I thought the runner up was a bit much tho since it says teh B-Word. ;(
Plus your frags in each of those modes were just 1v1. Your not even going to have any room to compete if you only have 1 frag kills. Now unless of course, they were "Shocking" kills. Like a fantastic wallbang or something.
Trust me, we all had as much chance as the next guy. Yet some people are better then others. -

You need to fix your brain if you honestly believe you should have won.
The winner is a better player, and better editor. Yours had little to no continuity - random collection of single kills placed together in an incohesive video that looked like it was a rush job in Movie Maker. Unfortunately I couldn't make it past the 1:30 mark, but I can assume you're proud of unexciting 1v1 kills. I can make sick shots against my uncoordinated little brother too!
That said, your critique wasn't totally off the mark, as the winner's video was not filtered well (either that or YouTube killed the quality, I could see it being decent in high-res). It lacked some flow, but did make an attempt to stitch things together. -

Ok, i dont like the "mist" in the winners vid, still its beats yours vid in any way..
You say its boring, maybe because of the often slowmotion or what, but when i was watching yours, it really was boring, too long and with the same pattern first half: walking/1 kill/defuse..
Second half of your vid was at least more dynamic, but still, no awesome kills, nothing extraordinary, it looks like some regular replays everyone can make with no effort..
Its not a bad vid you have made, but it surely doesnt compete with the winners.. -
If you think this video deserved most creative, you're honestly delusional.
As lumic said, I actually only watched 14 seconds of it before closing out of it.. All of these are 1v1s besides the clip in egypt. Your lack of aim and inability to edit is quite possibly the worst duo in the history of CFFA.
