Need help here.

I changed my killmarks_upgrade to three different png.

but when i killed 3,4 or 5,6 people in streak, it is still the killmarks-upgrade 1.

WHY?

Another thing: anyone know what multi1_fx, multi2_fx.... for?

OK, this is what i got here
no matter how many i kill in streak, it only shows the upgrade 1(yellow)

dunno.. u can check modhub.. and download one of those killmarks in there, and maybe put the same file names as them.

thanks. do you know why a sound file appears in "Mark" folder.
  • Actually I had a look and you know how it appears 2kill or 3kill top right corner in-game that is it. I'm sure.
    Not sound lol. My mistake.
  • I believe those sounds are for the multi-killmarks, as one can make different sounds manifest in the UI for 1-6/7 kill.* By upgrade, what do you mean? Do you mean it will only show the mark for 1-kill no matter how many you kill? Either you failed to extract the files correctly, or someone has "bamboozled" you.

First you should clear your mark folder before you add any custom killmarks. If you are using many different kinds, make sure you appropriately extract the correctly #ed marks. If you are using someone else's files, note that names are not always trustworthy. It may be labeled something but have another function on the interface.

So don't put "red" mark #1 and "blue" mark #1 together. You would want "red" #1 or "blue" #2. Sorry if I didn't satisfy you with my answer, but I don't quite get what you're referring to, so just assuming and doing my best.

EDIT: Really? It should be sound, otherwise the FX should be interpreted as "Effect."
*EDIT2: Note: Yep, they are not sound files.

Wait a minute, they're different file names ">.>

To quote myself, these seem to be the only possibilities. I bolded the parts that seem to be the cause for the problem. If you can contact the manufacturer of the mods, consult them regarding the bolded parts. They may tell you if other people are suffering this malfunction, or if that is not the case; you must've improperly extracted them.

If you made them, it would be best to make sure you've coded them right and they replace the intended file. You can label a mod "Kill_3.TGA" but its function can serve as Kill 1. Check back on them. This, to me, seems to be the common and apparent issue. Otherwise, go about my other advice.
  • the three you've got there display depending on your badge level. to change which colour appears when you kill someone more easily you want to change the _fx marks.
