so ive read that crossfire runs on multiple cores now. is it true? because my fps hasn't changed at all and i have a dual core. does it make a difference?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. That was my GUESS, but some people aren't experiencing any difference. Still trying to figure it out -__-

so what might be the reason?

im not going to say i cant play the game because my fps is a constant 40-50 on a 8v8 game, but its sort of weird since i get about the same fps in other games with much better graphics and stuff like that.

I have a single core and my fps raised slightly so it most likely is not that.

Also, same I get 20-30 fps in 8v8's but I can run Warcraft 3 in full rooms and get 80+
