Xtrap annoying

can someone please help me with this evrytime if i start crossfire Xtrap gives problems it says
the acces to xtrap patch server is unstable or xtrap update wasnt able to run properly please restart game

try turning off your "firewall", I had the same problem. Now it works for me.

I have been playing CF for 1 week i think,, when i first downloaded it ,, i can play it even when my firewall is on.. :O
But today, The [xTrap] keep telling me that "the acces to the xtrap patch is unstable or xTrap update wasnt able to run properly. please restart game.""
I restart CF so many times -.-'' i ddint help,, i deleted all files,and redownloaded it,, it didnt help either.
Just now i turned my Firewall Off. it helped for awhile,, But when i turn it back on.,, i cant play it anymore.

Do I have to keep my FireWall Off foreverrr??? =.= zzzzzz

Hi im Having The Same Probelm i Turned My FireWall Off But Its Still Saying the acces to xtrap patch server is unstable or xtrap update wasnt able to run properly please restart game i Would Really Like To Play Crossfire Again. i quit for about 2years Now and came back because Zombie Mod.

try replacing the xtrap folder with another person's. That has worked for me once, although i got the folder from my other computer.

lol, it's not good turning off your firewall. And it's still more annoying because there are already H4ckers playing, and they're not getting the xtrap, which has meant to them, while innocent people get it..uhuh.
