Crossfire MFC Application (error/crash - PC lock up!!)

this is the second time iv'e got this error message that drops me out of game, to desktop with the message "Crossfire MFC Application" - "were sorry crossfire needs to close blah blah blah unsaved works will be lost"

whatever, im used to crossfire errors no big problem, HOWEVER...................

This one LOCKS UP MY WHOLE PC and makes me have to REBOOT everytime
so i cant take a screen shot of the error, since my computer totally freezes

this just started happening since the patch, in the past NO crossfire errors EVER locked up my PC..

i hope this doesn't keep happening i dont like rebooting my computer every other 20 minutes.

check your RAM, it maybe incompatibity with your PC causing this problem. even if ram is incompatible with your pc, it can run, by at some point in time it will start failing you.

Or, try reinstalling CF, you may have a corupt file that is cause a conflict with your pc.

If you are on Vista or window 7, try running CF in compatiblity mode. right click the CF.exe on the compatilibty tab, put in XP mode

my ram is good same quality brand, never had any issues before the patch..

im using windows xp, never had any of these pc lock up before the patch..

im hoping to avoid the tedious task of a full reinstall since this just started happening after the patch..

just seems like the usual FailFire problems, if its not one problem its another!

i would of rather them fixed the hacker issue that make this stupid patch..
my FPS increase but the game feels laggier now, the font is horrible, and of course the hackers are back hours after the patch.. ATLEAST edit the game so they have to reprogram there hacks to be compatible with the patch, slow them down alittle

trying a full uninstall & fresh reinstall
