opening crossfire problem
i stop playing and remove crossfire from my computer for almost a year. when i decided to play again i noticed a problem with opening crossfire... when i click the crossfire icon the page appears and i click start. then the anti hack thing pop out and loads normaly. but then after its done the game wont start? what the hell?

Have you tried uninstalling Crossfire and download the newest version?
BTW: Patch was yesterday.
That happend to my friend too but it's fixed now, reply back to me if it's fixed or not, I'll help you.

Also what operating system you are running?
And what antivirus you are running? (You might have to add it as a trust list/white list) -

1. Ok is it free or the paid version? (I have McAfee Total Protection 2011, sometimes that happens to me and I just have to add to the trust list)
2. If it's not fixed then try adding the game and the hack detecting system in the trust list.

I think that the operating system matters too. (If it's Windows 7 then you might get errors since Crossfire doesn't fully work on Windows 7 yet) -

Good, plus you need to add that to the antivirus too. (add it to the exception list when the software is scanning for viruses)
Make sure you allow internet connection for crossfire. -

Ok, and I'm assuming you have service pack 3.
Is it a 64 bit version or 32 bit.

Having same problem
After playing for a year the game wont load on my pc run hgw to 93% then just goes awy no anti virus installed have windows firewall that never messed with it before have a dell duo 2.8 1g ram nvidia fx1400 video card my problem seemed to start with the patch before this last one. oh Im running windows xp 32bit -
After the new patch I keep getting disconnected with server, over and over.
That's IF it loads at all.
Cf shoould get their proverbial $hit together before they put so much new material into a patch.
I run Vista with AVG and it took up to three minutes some days BEFORE the new patches.
Frustrating. Then when you do get it to load, the hackers ruin the games and the gutless chump hosts don't kick them.
