Well, Patch is buggy :(
1) You get randomly disconnected with a -243253 error (or some similar number). Happened on the new Hero MM map.
2) Refresh rate is suddenly 60hz! It used to be whatever you set it in windows, so those 120hz monitors would get some love
Now suddenly it's 60hz. MASSIVE screen tearing at 60hz
Please fix this asap! (Luckily I can use RefreshLock to force the refresh rate back...)

yes im too have this problem why .___. -
Are you using triple buffering? Also, I notice mouse lag when I turn on "wait for vertical refresh" Since crossfire is not an open GL game I don't even know why you have this option enabled.
No I'm not using triple buffering. And enabling vsync simply causes the negative/positive acceleration bug (which goes away at 125 hz polling rate) to be far worse than without it. I stopped forcing vsync over a year ago. -

I too am having problems with the refresh rate insisting on reverting to 60HZ after the update once you start the game. I use 1024x768 @75HZ for my desktop and before the patch crossfire would use the same resolution and refresh as my desktop.
The monitor will report what resolution and hertz it is using if i access the menu on it. Now after the patch it is reporting 37.8khz 60HZ PP for the fullscreen menu window and 48.3khz 60HZ NN for the in game resolution. It is very displeasing on the eyes. There is no setting that I can find in the registry or any of the crossfire .ini or config files to set it manually other than the settings in the game itself which are not working.
I'm using a 19 inch color samtron CRT with 2 GeForce BFG 9800 GTX+'s in SLI with an AMD ATHLON 64 X2 dual core 6400+ black edition pushing it. I did the reinstall of Crossfire as per GM Saidin's guide http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=52579.
I also reinstalled Direct X and Did a clean install of the latest 266.58_desktop_winxp_32bit_english_whql certified Nvidia drivers. I had 186.18 whql drivers before the crossfire patch and everything was working good.
Thanks for your tip about RefreshLock Falkentyne1. I found version 2.13 of it over at majorgeeks http://majorgeeks.com/RefreshLock_d1268.html.
It works very well to make the game run at the proper settings... which we shouldn't have to be running a third party tool to do what the game is supposed to do in the first place... I'm just amazed that xtrap isn't blocking it.
What gives Developers? Did you leave something out of the client also that will not let the client detect the desktop resolution now amongst the other bugs and glitches?
Please fix this problem so many people are having now with the resolution
settings.
Thanks for taking time to read this.
