Have you tried auto-adjusting your screen? My monitor has an auto adjustment button and I had to use it when part of my game screen was cut off and a black bar replaced it. After pressing the button, my screen was adjusted and the black bar was removed. If you have an auto-adjustment button, you should press it. That's all I can suggest.

I don't have that on my computer. =( -
I had that problem too, happens when ur Dektop resolution is higher than crossfire (1680x1050 or more) u have to lower ur resolution to match crossfire's.
I dont have to switch my resolution anymore, why ? because i updated my graphics card driver
, u should check for updates (i use Nvidia btw) -
Change the resolution of your computer screen or CF.

Yes, that is the solution.
If another problem comes, press the fn buttom on your keyboard and then F8 so you will change your computer to CRT or LCD
