You don't need a axe or shovel or katana to be good in GM ^^ I play with my knife and Im a very good player in Ghost Mode ! In BL and in GR ! In GR its to easy to get a nice score ! Last time i've played in GR was in complex and i've do 34/2 without the new patch and with my aug camo

Now it can be more easier
but BL is not easy at all ! -

No, they definitely changed certain aspects of the game, like light, smoke and glass. Just a mere better FPS do not explain these things. It just enhances the flow of images. It doesn't change them.

uhm... According to me, GR is a bit overpowered, even due to many weapon easy to use (i.e. XM1014 adv). Things get very hard only against players who know how to bhop well and have breath down.
Ghost is harder, but not impossible, mainly if we think that the win is more important than the personal score.
I really don't know how to make the BL'e side as strong as the GR's one... -
I think both sides are balanced well. GR needs to have some small edge against BL since a lot of people on GR don't pinpoint. Pinpointers (like me
) don't really need this though since they rely mostly on sound than visuals. Being a ghost may be more difficult, but some people just don't know how to do well as a ghost. In order to do well as a ghost, one needs to bhop constantly and not stay in the same sport for a long period of time. Moving around allows their breath to not be pinpointed as easily. Ghosts can also buy breath down so they aren't heard from a longer distance like when they don't have breath down. Ghosts can also use stronger, better melee weapons if they decide to buy/earn ZP so they can get a temporary weapon. Unfortunately, the hack detecting system will never be perfect so GR could have a hacker every now and then. Recently, I haven't seen many. -

You don't have to be in the in the vicinity of any light source or smoke. A simple across the map distance is sufficiant enough. A ghost standing a mile away from a smoke grenade or light source, though the smoke or light is behind him/her, he/she may be visible pretty decent. Though I find it pretty deserving for shovelers (QQ smiley face) it is a pretty unfair advantage as GR has always been.

Why? Because I don't use props? If you have actually played with me in the past few months, which I haven't played much. You'd know I don't play competitively. And when I did in the past, I did better then most shovelers with my knife, so all you're doing is attempting to troll.now i no why your so bad

Yeah. I just started playing again after the new patch and I am severely disappointed in the change. Hopefully there is an overwhelmingly negative response from the community and they do something to fix it back.
Should have said in the patch notes *Ghosts now 30% easier to see around the map!! -
To many players that are bad at BL moaning in this thread. Honestly its not that big a deal if your stupid enough to continue going in front of smoke&or light u deserve to die.. Its easy enough to avoid but ofcourse bad BL players will make crying threads demanding it be removed

I hardly ever play as BL but even I can see that it is so much harder to play now. i dont use breath down or shovel and i still do great as ghosts, its not that hard, you just have to know who to playFixed that for ya.

As a pinpointer i dont like these changes -.- it makes new players rely less on sound and more on visuals(when it should be a combination of both) wich means new players wont play as BL much and wont even care to learn pinpoint, hell they can just smoke all the map.
It makes GR side a bit OP( the game is still balanced though) and as TooLazyto said, if people smoke every inch of map just to exploit this "thing" doesnt it make Gm less competitive, and less fun to play??
Another negative point is the fact that it stresses an already paranoid community, and instead of every good or lucky player getting kiked from hackusations its every player that happens to notice it, getting kiked from them. -

Anyway if they screwed up GM I really don't know what to think about this patch coz GM is like the Exclusive MOD of CF, they aren't workin' on it but prefer workin' on a mode every single fps game out there has: MM.
On the other hand we can alm play even better and I have nothing to complain about on that point because it's something everybody can appreciate w/e there specs and now they can even play smooth. This will also get our community to growvcoz people will tell there friends "well look qi play this game called CrossFire, it's awesome and doesn't require much...
At a conference will edit when I get home and try all my pcs. -

WRONG. The big issue is not that you can see dumb ghosts standing in/near/in front of smoke or light. The problem is that you can now even see slick bunny hoppers attempting a tough getaway or kill that was possible before. You can be really good as a ghost and the same moves you did before the patch won't cut it now. It made more sense before that you had to be at a certain angle on GR to see ghosts in the light.
