Little Explanation AND Suggestion
This thread will consist of two parts. The first will explain what's going on, and set some calm in people's minds. The second one is a direct suggestion to Z8Games and G4Box team.
Part 1: Who are SmileGate?
Well, a lot of us are not happy with the patch. I understand that ... I'm not happy either. But the wrong thing that a lot of people are doing is blaming Z8Games.
Z8Games are in no way responsible for what we're getting in the patches. I think they are not even involved in bug fixing (and even if they are, just in a minor part). They simply have no rights to modify the game on their own.
The fact that we get commercial pink weaponry, dumb backpacks and hats, kiss grenades and all that funky BS is NOT z8's decision. SmileGate are responsible for the bad management and updates that CrossFire North America is enduring.
SmileGate are the people who are responsible for slow bug fixing. SmileGate are responsible for rediculous and useless content that we're getting. SmileGate are responsible for the bad reg, for the lack of the Barett sniper rifle, for the countless M4/AK reskins while everyone is allready p!ssed with those, for the time it takes to patch glitches, for the almost useless patches e.t.c.
It is NOT G4Box's fault and even less Z8Games', just making sure that you guys know about this. Z8 are doing their best. But SmileGate just don't care about CF NA as much as they do for the Asian versions.
Part 2: The suggestion.
Since SmileGate doesn't cares about us ... Here is my suggestion. Stop caring about them. I would like to suggest G4Box and Z8Games to take over the CFNA version. I'm pretty much sure that G4Box has a couple of programmers wich can pretty much handle updating the game.
Okay, it won't be as much updated or anything anymore and it won't ever get as updated as CF CN, but at least things will get done.
SmileGate are nearly useless at this point. So I'm suggesting to take the game in your hands. I'm aiming this suggestion specially at [GM]Saidin, since he's part of G4Box.
Chris, do something. I belive you don't like the way things go either. Than make them change. Take it over. Do it the way it needs to be done. Calibrate the game. Make it rise and shine, as it did in CBT.
We don't need SmileGate, if that's what they give us. They won't listen to any of the suggestions that people are suffering for. So why keep bending to their will?

Damn that is really obviously the game comes boring: bad kick system -> more hackers -> they dont get kicked always and and and.
I give up now there are no funny or great guns like on the chinese server or so.

I agree with is on some level...
The patch seems to be another money plant by whom ever to sucker more money out of this side of the planet apparently...
I'd say get everyone to boycott buying weapons, but that would just cause them to stall on releasing anything else in the future...
P.S. WT.FingH3LL is with only giving 10% of the proceeds to japan?! SHOULDN'T it ALL go to japan?! It's not like it took 9 fricking months to develop a cheap skin/bookbag/hat! To be honest, that sounds pretty good..
But I'll belive it's just not that easy, and if that would happen i belive g4box would have to make new client, since we're using SmileGates client now? ( No clue if I am right )
I think we are. But writing a new client is allready easier than make things from scrap. I'm willing to help out G4Box, voulonteering to write some of the parts myself. I have C++ knowledge, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here.Yeah of course revoulution !

This is all because of SmileGate. This is why we NEED a change. And I trust that G4Box are capable of bringing that. -
OH! That IS right! Stupid arse SG had been working on another game or something for some time called Operation [Leaving the rest out...], I'm going to assume they are just using CF as a means to gain revenue to work on THAT piece of junk lag city game...

The could design and make their own game...
Not like it cost's a bunch (and even if it does, not like they can't get the money), and they can find people who can work for them quiet easily...
Besides, it's time NA got a game that hadn't been in an Asian market for like 3 years before hand and now it's outdated and they are trying to sell it off as the best thing since condoms...
And then people wonder why CA is still doing so well...because they put WORK behind their stuff, even if the anticheat they use sux...unlike CF which just plain sux in too many aspects AND the AV is letting too many thing by even right after a patch... -

I think it's not impossible to figure out how CF works, especially for a skilled programmer (seeing how the hack'ing software progresses, the coding isn't that hard ..)
I could do that myself, but I don't have no server to host that on ... Besides, I just have a client. Even if I get the REZ files in and out and start re writing the game completely, I won't have as much info as Z8 and G4Box does.
It IS possible to spam SmileGate. But you'll need to know Korean. Tho even if you do speak Korean, this won't help much. If SmileGate doesn't listens to Z8 and G4, they'll listen to NA players even less in my oppinion. -

They can't just take over a game they don't own. The game wouldn't even be able to be called CrossFire and it would need different things (Copyright issues).
The money earned from ZP most likely goes to SmileGate, I don't think it all stays in Z8/G4.
Besides, this is a free game, you don't have to pay to play it, nor you're forced to buy ZP. -

The way I see it, G4 shall just buy this game. Besides, in the long run, it would offer more advantages to both G4Box and Z8games.
And trust me, if I could have a job in z8games, I would. I do not live in Canada, unfortunately..
