Can't play in full screen?

When I go to CF on the lobby or whatever it's a half screen (windows menu mode or whatever) but when I join a game, it's still that half-screen and not a full screen?
Anyone have the same problem what should I do?

try adjusting your resolution not the resolution of CF
If that didn't work than
Lower the hertz frequency of your monitor to 60,70 or 75

Where can i do that?
