    First Start

    Uninstall Game Booster

    Simply Garbage ;)
  • Get a new computer or more RAM and/or a New graphics card for fps lag.
  • slow load speeds ingames (assuming we all have a half descent cpu) is normally caused by ram, or lack of it.....

The game loads all the nitty gritty of what it needs to do in ram when u first start the game, then when u load a map it loads all that info into ram also..... If you have Less ram then the total size of info it trys to load, it starts juggling it between ram and a page file (a space on your harddrive that acts as ram) .... it takes longer to access memory from a page file then it does from ram, same goes for writing it. SO, the more u have in a page file the slower it loads.....

    in short, GET MORE RAM..
  • fire.pngWhat Rendo said. Getz more ram sounds like a good solution for you dude. fire.png
  • get MORE RAM , BETTER GRAPHI CARD NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • When You Play Crossfire
Don't Open AnyProgram In The Background
Example : Youtube , Internet Explorer

    Do Not Open That
    And Install Game Booster
    And Buy More Good Videocard,CPU,Ram
  • The problem of slow crossfire! here!

    Well these are the problems,

YOUR computer! if you have microsoft windows xp, it will be slow for crossfire because its hardrive is not capable off having crossfire because crossfire has many things, connection from far distances ( windows xp will not me "tough" enough for this), far location of communication , all of these "cookies" are a problem for windows because of the connection by location!

WTF YOU HAD DOWNLOADED?!? if you downloaded crossfire and do not have windows, well it might be the type of download you had used.... Mirrors of east code, Mirror 2 is the best recommended for you. Others dont matter if it is your first time going to download, then go for mirror 2 to do not do you opinion. crossfire might be slow if you downloaded other sites instead of the mirrors on crossfire homepage, do not download gamershell, brothersoft, and all the others because it might make you slow and you will have errors of starting you game like from brothersoft you will have a error that says HGWc error :;' something like that....

OMFG!!!!! DUST!!! if your computer is old and dusty you see nothing would process as you wold like it to be. please clean your s@#@!!!! UP!!!!!!!

  • maybe download advanced systemcare and go on youtube on how to get pro for free, and it will make your pc as fast as it was from shop and it will get rid of all your crap that slows down boot of everything on your computer
  • Whats worse is how Crossfire has need to load 80% of its folder package... Considering its graphics and way its played it shouldn't consume over 512 mb ram... Game developers sure are lazy these day and got spoiled by new powerful hardware so don't even bother optimising the game. Now I'm not a programer or am i criticising game developers but seriously... Apart from its enormous memory usage (with each patch it gets slower and slower, task manager reports 1,4GB memory consumption with Alien patch) even bigger lol is engine that this game uses. Blood 2 LithTech...
