  • I would go to a LAN party, if it was in Ontario. Toronto respectively and there would be like 3-4 LL players cause they live in Toronto.
  • i'd love to meet denxi at a lan.

    My logic is not flawed?!!??!?!?!?!!?

    /people get thrown through tables.

Gl with starting a lan when half the people who play this game can't get a grasp of the english language, let alone buy plane tickets to attend an event they'll most likely get beat up in.

stop fugging making fun of me!!!!!!!!!
  • it better be in Toronto, super low ping ftw

FYI the modern day definition of a lan party isn't really so strict.

These days almost all games can't be played local. I'd hate to see you get flamed for making a comment like this over on the League of Legends forum, or the Starcraft 2 forum, or heck even WoW... Even a game like Team Fortress 2 which can still be hosted locally, is probably still better played on a hosted server (unless the person who's hosting has an awesome pc).

Anyways, having said all that. Let us know if you decide to hold a party to play CF, take some pictures have a great time. Post it on the forums. Maybe we can throw some extra fun your way! You never know until you try!

    I love you <3
  • Ill drive 3 or 4 others from NY area to Canada to play.

No stinky feet or smelly arses in my vehicle though.
  • There's a big difference between a poll and people actually turning up. Half the people who'd say they'd be there wouldnt turn up. I'll turn up to be a bouncer for a wage...... not joking >.> I'm probably twice the size of the asians going there =P [ive seen pics of jbiel, lol. he's teenie]

But yeah, a Lan would be pretty good. The NA scene has picked up a lot recently it looks, but with some euro teams in there aswell would be awesome if of course, some of the big ones got more sponsors. [cns / roc / vG and maybe myr] would be up to scratch......

speaking of grasping the english language... how can you have a lan game when there is no dedicated server program?....

just a bunch of people in a room together connecting to a web based game server is NOT A LAN party....
might as well just all get on the same vent and play. not quite the same but still. The point of a LAN is not just the unified exp. but also the point of unified ping. one with out the other is just not the same.

    LAN= local area network.
lan party= game hosted on and contained within a local area network.

and before u rage, i could care less what u think. ive been hosting lans sense before a great deal of you were even gaming. i dont care what the "console raised" generation of gamers thinks. A lan is a LAN and it can't be something else.

but if 10 people are in the same game and also physically in the same room... would they not have the same ping?
