Oh my freakin god the world is going to end because you have 8 higher ping.
Could be something happened between your connection from your home to the servers. Meaning something could have increased the distance your info has to travel to get to the servers. -
Anyway my ping sometimes rises by 8 pings higher to
But anyway this days I notice my ping spike's less that up by 8 ping anymore and than goes down to my normal ping 19
I think the servers are being overloaded by players so ya z8games probably had to cut down there bugdet for the servers for there golden spinning wheels :P

But my Ping in UK is at best "75", and when I have connection problems it sometimes jumps up to 600+
that's not 8 points higher, but I'll let u do the math!!!
Anyway, I don't think U can tell the difference between a 20 pinger and a 50 pinger
It's what's higher than this that should be considered, so think of ur self as being Lucky!!! -
It's rather normal. I have a steady 8-9 in some UK servers atm, 16-20 in others (had 90 in UK1 for while...), but sometimes my ping will just randomly be higher (30-40ish)
Anyway, I can't say I notice a difference between 8 and 20 (or 0-1 ping for that matter), so going from 12 to 20 shouldn't bother you. -
the uk-ping-desaster
since november 2010 my ping on UK1 has increased.
when i last played on december 2010, it has reached a constant 120.
after 3 months not playing....it is now....
UK1.....180 !!
this has been checked on three different providers, so its not my problem.
just to mention: i got a better ping on us or canadian servers.
i posted this in the tech-forum....
conclusion?
noone cares, technically nothing has been done,
so live with it, z8 will or can not do something about this.
