In-Game Moderators
People have supported me on this in MANY other games, and I have worked on quite a few games as one, as well as Runescape itself I was a player moderator for roughly 3 years, and retired.
Okay, well since z8 wont waste there money on a new anti-hack system and instead they run off a low-budget anti-hack system because we all know, z8 is one of the most welfare run games on the net. It's a highly populated game with low budget graphics, and runs off high memory for no reason, other games with 2-3x the graphics run off lower if not EQUAL to video memory, so it has come to my attention that since we cannot get rid of hackers, and you lazy staff members working at z8 wont simply change your anti-hack program, or just start banning players then maybe its time to higher and impliment a IN-GAME MODERATION system, meaning there will be player-mods in game who are chosen at a high maturity level, player level as well as how much time they spend on the game and how much they have paid for. Requirments will be at least spent over 100-150$ on z8, and at least have the rank of a 2nd LT either way I think that in-game moderators is a easy solution to getting rid of them nasty kids with there parents bank cards.
How it works is in-game a player-mod will have a special symbol by there name showing all other players they are a staff member, I believe mods also should have the ability and not ELEGID to abuse it but to be able to kick players from in-game a room, and give them a BLACK MARK against the account as an offense and warning, and as well e-mail them a message telling them if they hack the next two times, they will suffer a permanent banishment. Basically as a mod you get an extra option to choose from your in-game menu, that will make it so your able to to take care of noobs who decide to wanna hack.

Only a few people, A FEW, are willing to actually do this without a profit and do it FAIRLY. Key words.
A person that is selected to MOD, should have spend ZP for the spot is unfair. If CF would consider this option. The people selected would be people that have no side or be list in a clan. Plus, Second LT are hackers to. You would have to reach to Major or higher. People that have something to lose, are the best canditate. I and a lot of other people can get to Second LT easy.
But, over all. Your wasting your time trying to make decision for Z8 or CF on how to deal with hackers. This as been a long losing battle for all new forum members. -
+1 for In-Game Moderaters, BUT.
Spending ZP and having a rank of 2nd LT is stupid, to be dead honest...there are many legitimate players who never touch ZP, or only do surveys for them.
Add on top of that many casual players like myself only play every now and then, and have SSgt. after playing for a year +, or have multiple accounts to use different weapons.
What needs to happen is an Application by Invite system.
Basically, the MODs invite players they believe would do well as IG Mods, and invite them through the Forums to apply. This would:
-Give the MODs a chance to not be stressed by application
-Allow casual players with experience to join the IG Mod Staff.
-Encourage community activism, as the forums will be the medium for invite.
As an Ex-Admin of a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory server (I left after the server died), and I at least try to help the community a bit on the Forums, as well as play legitimately in game, and every now and then support Z8 with buying ZP, I would love to help out the community through IG Moderation, but I simply don't play every day for hours, or have the money to buy ZP all the time to get to 2nd LT and have bought 100.000 to 150.000 ZP.

Yes, not everyone spends ZP on the game but that's their loss on being subjected to being a moderator here, it's just highers the chances of the ZP users getting a staff position though should be rare due to trust, and a clean record for not using 3rd party software, no MONEY SPENDER would want to lose their account over a noobish game advantage that lasts maybe 2 weeks at a time. As for farming it's not my fault z8 never took action against it, its practically running bot using 3rd party software to afk most of ur alt's through VMware- running multiple accounts on 1 computer using virtuals, yet it's legal? I don't know how they work here but it's not my company I guess to step foot onto. It can't hurt to try instead of get criticized so harshly, as if I've wasted my entire life on the forums, I barily play 3-4 hours a day myself if I'm lucky... I work and have kids. As of on topic to the mod thing, yes LT seems like a low rank, but took me almost a year LEGIT; this game is pretty much failed due to farmers anyone can basically be an LT and have hack's. Another alternative is to ..
GET A BETTER ****ING ANTI HACK SYSTEM!!
Thanks for the +1 on the in-game mod idea's, but as for requirements getting to that position, account RECORDS will be viewed, meaning how long it took you to get your ranks, if you've used any suspicious 3rd party software, every been kicked for x-trap hacks and so on... yes we all have RECORDS of our accounts since day 1. I'm just stating a minimum not just what it takes to get a chance at mod' plenty more attaches but I rather get the vouchers of it being a good idea before I speak my mind or more details.... else why waste my time?
