Yes that is annoying! Happened to me several times yesterday while I was Fraging like ...:( One time hacker came in around 7-8 round while playing GM, and auto-kill all ghosts. Then we kick him, as soon as the hacker left, the room crashed, and 'failed to connect host' error pop up.
The room crash didn't occur because of a my computer problem or Internet because if it where so, I would have gotten desertions, so I think the room crash is hack. -
wtf?
i dont think thats even possible to disconnect everyone from a room..
If the one who host the room has to turn off the computer...... He can simply push the power button, or disconnect his host computer.
And according to what the OP said, I would think the real room host can not accept the fact that lots of hackers in his room to ruin the game, or he got kicked by vote kick, or something, anyway, he just feel frustrated and decide to close the room.
I don't think room crasher hack exist. -

DCing happens when your computer isnt processing CF right. Its your problem. Now there is programs that can cause CF to close.
But still.. o______o I see where this is going.
I am not sure what DCing means. But if I am the real host, which means the room is in fact a program running in my computer, I can ctrl+alt+delete to kill the process, or I can disconnect it from router, or I can power off. In any case, you wouldn't get any packet on client to tell you the room will break down.
And I think the original post says room crash instead of game crash. That is different.
The client side will take longer to decide if the room can not response forever, it wait 5 second I guess, because no 5000 ping have ever appears in the game. -
It has before, it's been around in multiple iterations. If it is back it wouldn't surprise me, but it is hella hard for them to code the hack due to how complicated the process is of crashing the room due to data overflow. If the one who host the room has to turn off the computer...... He can simply push the power button, or disconnect his host computer.
