smoke makes lag

Can someone tell me why the smoke makes me lagg??? When I pass trhought it, my FPS are reduced to 3-4.

Hey,

Smoke requires some sort of better graphics.
If you don't have a strong graphic card, you might lag in smoke. It's not a bug, it's a thing of
your computer resources. If you want to try, set the "Texture" option to "Low".

InGame -> Join a server -> Options -> Video -> Texture: Low.

Try it, maybe it works for you.

I' ve checked the options and the texture option is already low. What can I else do?

so, I can't play some GM maps, like METRO GM
