I don't have to look cause I found my clan, FoE, an older pro-GM clan. We used to rival the Panthers in terms of ability, but we have slowly died down from competition to just having fun pubbing.
Previous clans I've been in have come and gone, but they (FoE) have been around for practically forever.
Look for a clan with solid leadership (ex-military or current military guys with a structured leadership organization helps), friendly people who regularly pub, and then have a small segment within the clan that regularly scrims, and you will find it a great clan.
I was invited to join *PubStarz*, they were number one, and they died out, all because of fail leadership.
:|SuP|: Clan was a dominating clan in the early days of the game, but it died out due to the amount of players circulating through the clan, in and out, every day. Literally went from 100 one day to 50 the next.
PantyBandits was a small clan, only a few people, but it disappeared as we were invited over the years to pro-GM clans.
Elite, small clans are just as likely to die out as the massive, dedicated ones.
Look at the BLooD clan for instance. They were in the top 25 for almost two years, then they died out.
Clan's come and go, but building friendships and relationships with people in the game will stick around for some time. Just don't make a clan with your friends as co-leaders and what not, unless it is structured. Always join a clan, make friends, and stick with it.;)
And it helps not to clan hop. Lol.

People just need to stay in the team. When I barely started this game I clan hopped like a baws in at least 2 clans everyday for like a month. Eventually I noticed it wasn't getting me anywhere and stayed in sLackerz.
That's where I started with the competitive side of this game. I would recommend to find a few guys you have good chem with and stay with them for a while. You will all learn from each other and hopefully get better with time. Don't let the small sht kill the team. Find a way over it and make sure your leader isn't a moron full of himself. Teams that die after losing 1 scrim need to learn that they won't start off as the best, and that staying together and finding their mistakes would probably be best to improve individually and as a team. -

I`m an active player and decent ... i found my clan that i will not quit for a long time because
1.theyre awsome
2.we have a great time
3. we always talk on team speak
4.laugh all day

I agree with that. A clan is a team of people who could be seriously good friends. That's what makes a good clan not skill or ranking but care for members. -

Doing things like Teamspeak and Vent will help a lot, but also try meeting in person if you can. Doing that can really tighten a group hella up.
Vent can do the same, and so can Skype. Joking around and having fun will help out immensely versus plain old text or using Vent for clan scrimmages only.
Which fails in ghost mode btw. Lol.;)
