Monitor/Resolution Problems
This isn't a MAJOR thing but just kind of bothers me. I have a HANNS-G HH281 27.5in monitor, when I start the game it only goes fullscreen a small portion, then when I join a game it gets larger but still doesn't fill the entire screen.
This isnt a major issue, but I'd like it to be fullscreen
Thanks,
DarthFloe

I have an NVIDIA one, but it says "The current HDTV signal format does not support desktop resizing. To change the HDTV signal format, visit the change resolution page."CyberCatUK wrote: »Assuming you have set the in-game options to full screen, you could try this > http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=135961
I go there, and I can change the resolution to one I can use for Crossfire, but that will force me to use that resolution and I have ALOT of icons on my desktop in a specific order, so I can't really do that, any other suggestions? -
A tip I've somewhere before is to change your windows resolution to one matching crossfire, EG 1440x900. Then play the game once. Then go and change your windows resolution back to what you normally use and try it again in game.
I haven't used that fix myself but others have mentioned it so its worth a try. Maybe it fixes a registry bug or something by doing that I'm not sure. Worth a try I guess!
Hmm, but still it's gonna mess up your icons and it might not fix it. -
I don't know how reliable these programs are but I just did a search for program save desktop icon position in google. You can save all the desktop icon positions as a file and restore them if they get messed up. Looks like there are freeware apps available too. But use at own risk!

I've been using layout.dll for almost as long as xp has been released. It came
from a microsoft resource kit.
It's very easy to use. Only one .dll file you drop in the system32 folder and
run the registry file to register it. then it will add 2 options to your system
icons on your desktop... like my computer. just right click my computer and
there you will have the added options to save your desktop icon layout and
another to restore it.
Search on google for Layout.dll or I can link a useful site here.
This was originaly intended for NT. It works great on my xp systems.
They say it works in vista and 7 also.

I was messing around with package installers about 9 years ago and had made
many batch files and such and I packaged this up in an installer with a pic of
my dog on it. lol. Send me a pm if you'd like me to send to you in the email
or something. I've never gotton to share that. I thought it was just a silly
quirp I had about the icons getting messed up.
Cheers
