SubaGames to z8

I use to play when Suba owned CrossFire, and I stopped playing for awhile then I recently went to play and I logged in but it said I had no character so I had to create a new one. I'm thinking it's because CrossFire went to z8. Has anyone else's character got deleted since they switched or when they switched?
