Advice on Clan System

I've been playing pubs since I started Crossfire & now it's about time I try my hand with a clan. The thing is, I'm not familiar with the clan system, I don't know if I should join one or make one. What do you all suggest?

you should join a few clans until you find a clan of ppl who are as good as you or better, practice with them and get better. if you ever find a reason to leave that clan repeat the process.
