The winchester is older than the m1garand if I recall.. It was one of the evolutionary weapons that allowed the user to fire more than one shot at a time. The one in-game is the modern version which I still can't wrap my head around... Because it's a rifle, and it can only shoot 1 bullet at a time, yet it's range is that of a shot gun.. I don't get it.
The M1G for this game should have less power than the winchester*. Since the M1 can shoot faster than the winchester, there's no sence in giving it anymore power than that.
* The winchester, the way z8games designed it is completely terrible. The winchester is a rifle and can shoot rather far (let's say accross the ship map at least) and do devastating damage. Instead, z8games shortens the range to a shot gun standard with it only doing at the most a mere 12 damage from long range. When in actuality, it should do about 50 damage from long range. So for the M1Garand, it should be able to do about 40 damage or so from long range since you can shoot faster with that rifle. -

Couldn't agree more... However, if they're gonna bring this gun in, they gotta change the stats on the winchesters. Or at least explain why they didn't give the winchester the range it deserves. -
M1 Garands are not "ancient" as they are still the ceremonial weapon of the US Marines. My brother is a huge WWII history buff so the M1 Garand is no stranger to me. I think it'd be pretty cool, I'd say three shot kill with good accuracy would be good, considering it fires a .30 caliber round and has spectacular accuracy. In addition I'd have the firing rate be somewhat slow have the weight be heavy, recoil should be pretty typical. In other words, I like the idea.

, even just to collect, i would prefer the sturmgewehr, and all the auto matic submachine guns, ww2 was the submachine gun war! the ww1 mark1trench knife would be sweat too
