Whenever I play crossfire, it never goes fullscreen. Yet when I try to change it in the properties(1280x800 or 1440x900), it says "screen resolution not supported by your monitor. Cant change status." There are 2 large dark rectangular-like on the left and right of my screen. Any suggestions onto why this is happening? Operating system is Windows 7.

look atur grafic-card driver wich resolutions it support. after u add cf resolutions manually at ur driver, u will be able to choise those resolutions.

How do I add the resolutions to the driver? Explain in steps if you can. Thanks ^^

just go to properties of ur catalyst control center

press on ur keyboard "winbutton+R" type there regedit. find this source at hkey_localmachine
follow instructions on link above

I got to the Catalyst Control Centre but I do not see the attributes anywhere. My graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650. Maybe the version of it is the problem?

hmm just edit resolution u don't use to cf resolutions 1280x800 or 1440x900 like on cf. after restart u can chose.

You could try updating your graphics software to see if you get those options. Not sure which version you have.

Which one out of the 'DALNonStandardModesBCD1' resolutions should I change? Im scared my computer will mess up.

Uhmm, I already tried updating it. Theres an option and it said its up to date. Hmmms.

I thought you might say that. Yeah this is the problem with laptop graphics, not as easy to find updates for compared to desktop graphics cards and not as many options to play about with.

I haven't got a laptop with radeon graphics here to test at the moment.

When I do change it, the 'h' at the end dissapears, is this normal?

when u type 07 68 ? it would get back r8 ?

dots and numbers/letters is hexadecimal numbers of current line. so it's normal *..*

P.S when ur cf scaling have black r8angles on left/r8 boards, to fix it u need to choose catalyst resolution or nvidia first, that should be fixed. nice guide cybercat @->--

It wont let me scale. For some reason, theres not that option.

It still doesnt let me change the options in cf too 1230x800. Ahhhh! Whats going on?

p.s lol have u only bsd1? there should be bsd2 3 4 ... u should edit same lines on every also 07 68 to 08 00.

I do not see that resolution and what is bsd1, 2, 3, n 4 mean? What am I suppose to do? LoLs sorry I dont really understand..

Don't you just do the 'find' DALNoneStandardModes? That will find all of them?

Someone else had same problem that they couldn't find the option. It's a different version of the control center.

Please look at my thread again, posts #7 and #8 for the solution.
