Make a message system for the game

I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I think it would be a great addition to Crossfire. Right now, we have a chat that allows us to talk to people when they're on the game. However, there is no message system that allows us to contact people when they are not on.
It would be nice if we could send people messages on the game, sort of like an email system. A lot of people I know on the game live on the other side of the world, so we're on at different times. If there was a message system, we could keep in contact easier. Also, it would make it a lot easier to set up times for clan matches and stuff like that.
The message system could be used for official announcements too. For example, when there are events, everyone would get a message announcing it in case they don't read the forums.
Also, since the chat only allows you to post small messages at a time, it's hard to discuss stuff with people. If there was a message system like I suggested, you wouldn't have to break up your messages because it doesn't all fit in the chat.
This is just an idea... if anyone else has any thoughts or suggestions for it, feel free to discuss them. Thanks for reading

It's a good idea actually but given how lazy the CF developers are, I doubt this feature is going to make ti CF

I'd be surprised if we got anything NOT re-skinned.

Good idea, but like the guy above me said, we want a message system, what we are going to get is a re-skin of the chat.

Would be good since some of your friends don't go on the forums that much or you don't know there forums name.

1. The developers are lazy as it is..
2. There's an X-Fire for that. Just hope and pray that X-Trap doesnt see it as a hack tool.
3. It's a good idea but there are many small free programs that allow you to do such already.
