Buying New Computer - Help!
Hey thanks for visiting.
I'm buying a new laptop..only have 400-500 dollars to work with. Can someone help me out and find the best few that would be decent to game with//play cross fire. My current laptop is 1.6ghz cpu and gets like 40fps. I need something better than that at least.
Thank you! I'll Check this periodically.

I am not a pc specialist, but Crossfire is very greedy when it comes to hardware. I would not recommend to buy a low budget laptop for this game. But I have a tip for you.
Choose a laptop with NVidea graphics since ATI does not show up in the hardware requirements. -

As long as you dont get a laptop with intel graphics you'll be fineThe laptop I run on now doesnt meet the requirments as stated by you. lol. I have ATI Radon graph card in this one. Nvidea graphics arnt in many computers? only expensive ones... -
Not really.I am not a pc specialist, but Crossfire is very greedy when it comes to hardware.
Its requirements to run smooth are about the same as CSS.
Any new laptop with a decent graphics card will easily get it to 60+ fps.
Dont,Nvidia is just more expensive.Choose a laptop with NVidea graphics since ATI does not show up in the hardware requirements.
Ati cards do the exact same job.
Im using an Ati Radeon HD 5450(cheapy card) and on the highest settings, crossfire still runs at 100+ fps.
All in all im quite sure any laptop will do if crossfire is the only game you play.
Of course,no laptop for 500$ will be able to run black ops or crysis 2. -
very greedy when it comes to hardware? if you buy a gaming computer just for this game, you made a very big mistake.I am not a pc specialist, but Crossfire is very greedy when it comes to hardware. I would not recommend to buy a low budget laptop for this game. But I have a tip for you.
