Aim Acceleration

Aim Acceleration
Aim acceleration determines how far your crosshair will move on the screen based on how far and how fast you move your mouse. This makes your aim inconsistent and is why most games disable it or allow you to download mouse fixes that fix the problem, like in 1.6 and source. The CF client enforces aim acceleration and I just want an option to turn it off if we so choose. -
Aim Acceleration
Aim acceleration has nothing to do with the mouse in this case it's the CF client that enforces it. With aim acceleration turned off no matter how fast you flick your mouse around your crosshair will move the same amount of distance on screen as long as you move the mouse the same amount of physical distance. With the enforced acceleration distance on screen varies based on both speed and distance and instead of just distance. When your aim is based solely on distance your aim will become much more consistant which is why I think there needs to be an option to choose if you want to have it enabled or not. Lots of players have played with it for so long that they are used to it, but it is still inferior to having no acceleration in the long run. -

FYI: the crossfire client does NOT enforce mouse acceleration, i just testet to turn it off
my personal opinion is that i can play better with MA enabled but if u feel better with disabled MA, just do what i posted above, here u go

Aim Acceleration
To rid your machine of Windows-forced mouse acceleration, you can use CPLmousefix, but it is known to not completely remove acceleration. You should get cheese mouse fix. It is more robust than CPL, and if you would rather have CPL it comes with CPL too.
The mouse acceleration that is in Crossfire is due to the game engines implementation, not windows. CPL Mousefix or Cheese's mousefix will not solve this problem.
