yes and yes, altough the .45 acp is a short cartridge, it's tissue damage is really good, meaning it can stop a person with only a few shots (1~3 shots irl) when using the right bullet shape.
The m9 and the glock could shoot as fast as they can press the mouse button, since they're semi-automatic, at the cost of a uncontrollable recoil .-.

Not the M1911. But the Glock certainly does. It's supposed to be one of the most lethal weapons due to being like an automatic pistol, but it has extremely low power, costs a good amount of GP and needs a specific rank. As for the M9, you got what you paid for.

The M1911 is fine. The Glock-18 however definitely needs a buff. It's so weak that the only way to kill an opponent fast is headshots.
Staff Sergeant 4th Class + Extremely high recoil = Not worth the asking price...
M9...well what did you expect? 12,000GP = M9. It's only suitable.
My suggestions: Springfield Armory XD .45 ACP -
In all the Glock or G-18 should be FULL-AUTO! not a 3rd burst like the Barretta 93R. that should take care of the Glock if it were a true representation of the real life weapon produced by GASTON. I own one and I have never seen one that is Burst fire only. They all come FULL-AUTO with selector to semi auto fire, and you need to learn how to tame that beast when it fires 20rds a sec. For you boys and girls out there that's 1200 RPM CYCLIC RATE!

1911 and M9 are alright for what they are supposed to be in game.
The Glock really should be full auto (not the 3 round burst BS) and have a 33 round mag.
That would make it a bit like carrying an UZI in your pistol slot.

True but it would still make a pretty good secondary and it would certainly be better and more realistic than the way the Glock is now in the game. -
I think the Colt is perfect,it draws very quickly and does acceptable damage.
After all,the pistols are sidearms and only to be used as a secondary if your primary ammo runs out or you cant reload.
Still,the Glock should be made better because its very expensive and very useless the way it is now.
I dont care wether this would be fullauto or just more dmg per shot. -
The Glock-18 is decent to me. The burst makes it a bit better for accurate shots (even though this isn't an accurate pistol by itself anyways -_-)
A lot of people prefer the P228 over the Colt M1911. Both of them in my opinion are equally good.
As for the M9, I'm not too big on its firepower -_-
