Shouldn't there be some sort of program or something that can easily show us the hitboxes? *Outside of CF of course*

Something like the Half-Life model viewer or something? I mean is it that secretive that it's not viewable outright.

I mean even fighting game hotboxes are viewable

Why is this such a big deal all of a sudden?

Just point your gun at people and kill them, it's really not all that difficult.

That has nothing to do with what I asked. I never complained about not being able to hit anyone, I asked if there was any way to see the hitboxes. It's curiosity, nothing more.

If we were to visibally see that they were indeed the same, then all of this would be laid to rest right then and there.

It matters -a lot- in fighting games, and characters in fighting games vary greatly in size.

It's in half-life because half-life is extremely mod-able and being able to fit models to hitboxes is important.

It's not a necessary feature for crossfire.

I'm just saying there is so much mystery, complaining, and discussion about it. They should just show us and end it all. Should... but they won't.

But that won't stop anything. I believe him, but to shut up everyone else, why can't they just show us the hitboxes.
