Omg im soo tired of noobs saying you hack balbalbal nyanyanynaya when u own their asses on GM Specialy when u hear their pathetic breath...... well i edited my breath for ghost so if thats illegal tell me ill change it but do something about kick vote i get kick for taking the ace and then i get called h@Cker i can never get a damn game finish-.- do something bout kick vote bra thx

Not -entirely- sure, but I'm going to assume that editing sounds is illegal (cheating) considering the advantage it could give.

I don't like being kicked either, but at least we can kick the real hackers with it. The kick vote system is flawed, but it's better than nothing. I used to get kicked a lot when I played a lot of GM. I've given up trying to do GM because if you do good, you're a "hacker"... The problem is, a lot of the people who do really good in GM really do hack, so when there is a person who is genuinely good at GM, everybody thinks he hacks too.

you edited the ghosts breath?? i thought the files for the breath were in the .rez files... if you have edited the .rez files then basically you are cheating... im pretty sure the ghosts breath cant be change anyother way...

Those files are server side. It doesn't matter what you change, when in a game ONLY YOU hear it, everyone hears you the way you are supposed to.

Your not allowed to change ghost breath sound, even for yourself, woulda been inteligent to be quiet about that. As far as noob kicks go, if you QQ just as much as they do regardless of score you won't get kicked. True Story.

If you edit your ghost breath, only you can hear your own ghost breath. It will not affect the other players in any way, unless you are using Breath Down.

And getting kicked is a part of it. I don't care anymore, for a lot of players are blind-sided and one-dimensional when they die.

Wrong, since it changes the basic ghost breath sound, all ghosts will have the same type of breath.

Like everyone said, the edit of the ghost's breath is illegal

Anyways, just another QQ thread about vote kick. If you really do believe you are an amazing ghost mode player, go find an amazing ghost mode clan and scrim other ghost mode clans. Stop pubbin' if you believe you are that beastly.

Its illegal.... You cant make breath louder then what it is...

Its already hard enough for a ghost to get around the good pinpointers let alone real hackz.

If someone reports you cause they think you cham and the video makes you out to be like a chammer... then.. You can get banned permanently for hackz even when you dont.

Yes it is illegal.

Very true. If he changes his breath, all ghosts will have the same breath, giving them a disadvantage. Once again to be clear for anyone, this doesn't affect anyone else's game, only his. Same for models, if he changes the characters, they will only look different to him and nobody else. Sadly for this game, this type customization is illegal.

You guys ever hear of "equalizer"? It's a program that allows you to modify your sound, such as increasing bass. This in turn makes bass sounds, such as ghost breath and footsteps, a bit easier to hear. This isn't in anyway modifying the sound files, it's just modifying the sound leaving your speakers. Very highly doubt that it's against the rules.

Clearly you're not allowed to change game sounds (not counting radio messages etc) and will face ban if not worse for doing so.

EQ settings are of course fine.
