Need any advice at ALL
Well some of you may know... I just got a 2tb hard drive. I will no be recording in game whenever I'm on. I will make a montage in like a month. I really need some editing advice.
Programs I kind of know how to use: sony vegas (magic bullets doesn't like my graphics card.)
After effects (know pretty much nothing)
Need to know: how to sync. How to make walls go down and up (blind robs TD ship for example.)
If you only know one or two things feel free to post.

Syncing is just finding a point in the music, and finding a point in the video/effect, and making them happen at the same time. Find your point in the music, then hit "M" to create a marker. Right click your video clip, go insert/remove envelope -> velocity. Double click the velocity envelope (green line) to create new points, and fiddle with those until they fit.
The walls thing is just masking video clips, and then moving the frames. Search some basic tutorials. -

Or you can torrent it!Use Vegas man its the best but u ahve to pay unless u have Windows 7 then u get a demo :30 seconds for free
and just Redo it over and over again thats how the pros do it!
I already have sony vegas.
I split a clip and I didn't want it split so I was asking how to put it back together. -
