Any tips for AK Gold? I suck with it
I've just spent my last zp for a long time to finally get enough coupons for the AK47 gold.
I would really like some tips. Most games i play with any gun i rarely get above 1.5 k/d normally i am lucky to get 1.1.
So maybe i just need advice in general. I refuse to use my m12,thompson for months now. As i am determined to try to improve if thats possible.
For example:
Do pro players aim for head always or do you aim for chest because you've mastered the recoil will take them out with headshot.
Also what sensitivity settings do you play on. I have been trying to play with around 13mouse sensitivity.
When rush a group of players where do you aim at chest or do you aim at head and bring the sight down as you fire.
I just don't know what it is but theres something i am just not doing right. Or maybe i am just getting too old to play this game.

I recently got a gold AK as well..Heres what I tend to do:
Usually its somewhat hard to spray cuz the recoil kicks in pretty fast. You gotta tap/burst your shots. Try to aim near or at the head always..
and of course there is no one right way to do something, just practice and use your way

I really try not to spray. Just firing maximum a few shots at a time,but i guess if shots don't hit often the others spray at you killing you(this is particularly annoying if they do this with a m12 etc).
Unless of course there are lots of people right in front of me.Then i would try to spray my way out of trouble. -

Burst with it toward the chest. Learn to control the spray at close range. At long range shoot 1-2 bullets at a time. Reload behind boxes/objects.
I play at sensitivity 65-70.
I used to play with sensitivity on high around 70 but i found that the sight moves around so fast its difficult to get accurate shots to the head.
Then i read somewhere on a thread that blindrob plays on 4 Sensitivity. Has to be said my mouse only cost me 3Euro.Reduced from 10 (Saitek). -

long range two shots maximum move alot. sidesteps
midrange four bullet bursts maximum if more drag your mouse down after the 4th shot
to keep your spray centered.
close range aim for the chest and spray a bit, also drag down your mouse after a few bullets -
Increase your sens 5 by 5, it's easier.
The walk button ? If you are in S&D, you are dead without it. Use it as much as you can.
You mean set mouse/zoom sensitivity both to 5? Or increase mine by 5?
What about the windows mouse settings in pointer options Slow.....Fast and the enhance pointer precision On or Off? It so confusing trying to get right settings for me:( -
For short range, Short spray at neck height.
For medium range, Spray at neck/high chest and control recoil ( Pull back )
For long range, short bursts 1,2,3 shots.. Until kill.
Spray a wall and look at the spray pattern.. Normally a 'T' shape.
Then spray again and try and control the spray.. pull back and move side to side.. -

Guess theres always one kid with nothing constructive to say. I've only got the gun today.
But even if i do suck with it the M12 is not an option.Neither will i give up playing a game i enjoy regardless if i am not very good at it.
Would like to thank the people who have given their time in offering genuine good advice.Will go online now and see if i can put these suggestions into practice.:)
