Sudden FPS/Sound Lag, help meh for cookies.
Game's run fine ever since I first started, but this past week, I came back after a few days away, and I've noticed a slight problem.
Whenever 4 or more people are on my screen, poppin' caps in each others asses, or when mutants appear and shiz goes down, my sound and fps are all stuttery like, makes it impossible to aim in CQC, and often happens in distance battles too.
Here's my rig, as you can see, should have no problemos with this game, I normally get 280+ FPS 8v8.

EDIT: I'm no longer running Win 7, I'm back on Vista Premium.
Btw, this happens whether I'm running WMP or not.
I've been through my processes, the only thing that could possibly be affecting it, is my registry editor, but I've had that for a while now, with no ill effects.

Crossfire only uses 1 core so it's probably your video card..
I suggest you update it and try first the settings on low for the video card if nothing changed try the video card setting on high!
and a thing vista sucks.... I suggest you install windows 7 homepremuim/pro 64x bit or windows XP pro
Don't use Ultimate.... will be to much... -

That 2.7ghz OCs to 3.2ghz, so no problemo there. And the GPU is 2GB.
I've had these settings for months, and it's always been fine, smooth constant 280+ fps on highest res and settings. I actually get a lower fps on lowest settings, for some reason
I think it's a software change, which seems to be the problem here.
Hmm, maybe I could uninstall, re-install. I'll see how that goes.
P.S. I hated 7, way too unstable for gaming, imo. It's more an editors OS. -
xfire was doing that to all my games yesterday.CookieMunzta wrote: »Game's run fine ever since I first started, but this past week, I came back after a few days away, and I've noticed a slight problem.

I have much pr0n, but I don't download from them dodgy sites

Did a malwarebytes scan yesterday, followed by an MSE scan, turned up nothing.
I'm gonna guess my regedit program screwed with something, blah.GoPatriots wrote: »xfire was doing that to all my games yesterday.
Ahh I shoulda mentioned, I'm not running Xfire whilst actually in-game. -

UPDATE:
I fixed it. It was my sound card which was the problem (Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer)
I had it on high entertainment processing mode, with 7.1 speaker surround. I turned that down to 4.1 and into gaming mode, and now CF runs perfectly.
Muchas gracias anyways, cookie awarded to KillGod

Install windows 7 (with sp1) from the original iso. Im running 7 enteprise x64 with sp1.
It's fixed now, but either way, I downloaded an ISO with SP2 already on, and with update warnings, in-case any of the updates were from Microsoft checking my OS's legitness
