Mumble Overlay

So a buddy and I use mumble just to chat but our clan uses vent.

My question is has anyone that uses mumble(if any) been able to get the overlay to work in game? Xtrap comes up and doesnt start CF because the overlay is enabled and I would like to have it enabled.

Any help would be great.

Please dont suggest to turn it off because that is obvious.

Mumble sucks

Anyway if it wont work with Crossfire, chances are that XTrap is blocking it an you wont be able to have it work.

Not 100% since I dont use Mumble :P

Yeap i have mumble and the overlay works XD.

The only thing i do is run it as admin after you have logged in to CF

Ok so start mumble after I have started CF?

It works I just cant get it to work with overlay running.

Also the lag time is way less than ventrilo.

You're a fag. Mumble > any other communication program out there.

gsc is the best imo. doubt most people even heard of it in this community without me mentioning it

Xtrap brings up a red flag when I have it running

I have gsc as well

Sometimes xtrap stops it for me, sometimes it doesn't. Meh.

Maybe if I start CF then run mumble it will work.

I will keep trying.

it has the functionality of vent+xfire in one program... free also. idk how it fails but it worked wonders when i used it several years ago

xtrap randomly closes cf while using it.
sound is horrible.

well i never used it for CF so i wouldn't know about that but... the sound is just as good as you find in vent, TS, mumble, mohawk, etc...(you probably didn't setup correctly)

Mumble is Beast...easy to use if you have any computer knowledge...we tell our guys to disable overlays so there is no conflictions with xtrap ...but some of them have the overlays on with xtrap and no problems not sure what they do for those who don't know wat mumble is ..here is a pic of ours

Bypass Xtrap, then you can use anything you would like.
