Whats up with this?

Normally im 39-45ping and playing without any problems and enjoying it. Last 2 days I have been getting 60-250ping and it just keeps jumping on game from 60-250..... and 2 days ago I figured way to fix it, by rejoining the match. That trick doesnt work anymore and I have recently set my computer to factory settings so the problem cant be in my computer.
If anyone knows solution for this id be happy.

P.S ~ I have restarted my computer now 7 times with no results.

Try this:

CTRL+ALT+DEL -> Control Panel -> Processes -> CrossFire.exe

right click CrossFire.exe -> priority -> "low"

I guess it might be the autoban system. When there was lots of hackers, the system, if running on the server side, will be very busy.

if its about banning the hackers, I can play with the lag

Täällä ei saa puhua muuta kuin englantia.

If you set the priority to low, it will decrease ping. (I'm not sure why, but it did for me)

Ive seen alots of videos, and they all say Set priority to "HIGH"
but i can try that too.

Not an administrator? And you'd think setting the priority to low would decrease your FPS not your ping...

Fps is a factor too

. So how i make myself an administrator? And is it low priority or high?

Log in to your computer as an admin. (järjestelmänvalvojana)

Another thing, check if your BitTorrent is seeding or something.

Im not that nubby that idk what it means on finnish, but im that nubby that idk how to log in as admin, cuz it goes automaticly to my user.

Go to control panel -> users (atleast on win7)

check if you're an admin.

I cant understand what does lowering the priority of CF.exe got to do with the ping. The ping is based on the type of ur internet connection and how far u are from the server, and how full the server is.

If youre going to lower the priority all your going to get is less in-game quality and laggy gameplay, imo=/

Yeah well I don't understand how it does help either, but I read it somewhere and my ping lowered. (not much, but a bit still)

Nevermind, don't try this if it's this complicated for you, just thought it might be worth giving a try.

Bad idea, because if another process will need CPU he will get FPS drops like hell.

Nothing, i have nothing on my backround, not even antivirus

). [ I HAVE NO VIRUSES ]
Just set my computer on factory settings, so its like new.

Modem, and my brother is using same modem with me and he has no problems in other games. I dont have any laggs either in internet or another games. JUST crossfire..........
