Thanks Z8 for finally reinstating me after being banned for suspicious behaviour in HM guess my only crime was having a RPK gold with 360/120. Got couple of scores 120ish which as anyone used to hero mode would know is not so difficult.
Aynway would still like to commend Z8 for trying to do something about the hero mode problem and even though i was an innocent victim of a ban i still appreciate what they were trying to do.
Would also like to thank any of the mods as i got a reply from my support ticket submitted within 3hours so my guess is somebody gave me a bit of help to receive such this swift response.

Station is unbelievable at HM; him hacking is apparant to Z8 but I definitely see no potential in him to hack. He's just amazing at MM.
Theres many more better players than me,Without the RPK gold would probably be just an average player. You should watch [HaM] play hes got higher scores on MM than i ever got on HM. But sometimes you get a bit of luck and can acheive a good score legitimately. -
You haven't seen him fend off hordes of Hulks, using just his RPK ammo and just standing there, stiff as a tree? He's astonishing.

Yeah that is true. But i have sent many different support tickets before and i have never received a reply in 3hours normally would take at least 1 day to get a reply.
But my guess is after i PM'd a couple of mods protesting my innocence and asked if they could refer it for me. I guess i will never know if someone helped speed up the process or just that i got a genuinely fast response.
I haven't read any other posts of people getting unbanned in 3hours have you?

Yeah still have 512mb ram.Wiped computer today made a partition with only crossfire and gamebooster.Stripped down to the bare minimum and with everything tweaked for performance.In a full room ranges between 20/30 fps.:(

I was banned too (since friday 14.00 EST) for the same reason and got exactly the same reply, so it wasn't personally written for you, just a copy/paste

Funny exactly same time as i was banned.Think i was banned at 14.08 on friday. When did you get the first response to your support ticket?
With me first it said i was banned for hacking. Then when i looked 2 hours later it said account blocked for investigation.Then 1 hour later said account is blocked ring 001....... for customer support if you have any problems.Strange procedure. -

Yes it was 14.08 so the only explanation is an automatically issued ban.
I wonder if they'd just run a script to ban all people that had 100+ kills in HM?

It's really obvious to see if someone is hack!ng first off..
When he does he have no recoil.. and weapon weight + his aiming style does he shake when the aim or does his mouse really move fast to the head or body at the same spot.
so ya it's kinda stupid of z8games to even think someone is suspicious just based on score's.. -
Farming is not something we condone, however the functions in the game that make farming possible at this moment in Hero Mode games was coming up as highly suspicious. In so far as that we are always looking for measures to stop the hacking.
Some scores in Hero Mode games have been out of control, and have been like that because of farming (and hacking).
In an effort to be "more efficient" we have been looking for ways to handle these cases so that we can rid the game of the hackers.
Unfortunately in that scenario it also caught some legit players who might have used Hero Mode to Farm. Even in some regular games the scores are generally higher than we're used to.
We are working on improving these methods both with the developers to close the loopholes that make farming so "profitable" and also so that we can better hone in on the people that are hacking in this mode so we can remove them from our games.
The people we caught who were legit but with high scores had their block logs in this case cleared and the ban lifted because it was not accurate.
Having said that, this isn't an open invitation to hack. Because if you do you WILL get caught and you WILL lose the account and more, including IP bans. So remember, keep reporting the people you see as hackers and don't hack yourself! -

I suggest you just lower the exp you can earn in HM but at the same time...
I would say don't it's good as it is now it's just that the hackurs are ruining it
Because really a good team can get easily around the 100 a 150 kills
but that takes like 17 rounds! a hackurs gets that score with in 5 a 10 rounds..
So ya you should maybe look how much kills he gets per round and if it's really high than you can block his acc for a investigation and when you got a replay of him playing you can check if he h4cks or not!
P.s Saidin I hope you guys do look for multi-accounts on IP's that is how you get those kids that use low ranked accounts but got high ranked accounts to play "fair"
If the hack on 1 account it should be just a ban for all there accounts! -

Thanks Saidin for information posted on this thread.A positive from this is at least Z8 are actively trying to do something about the HeroMode situation.
I have noticed that HeroMode does offer quite good gp so i guess its bound to attract cheats. Having said that i hope you manage to find a way to stop legit players like myself being flagged and banned in the future.While at the same time finding the people responsible for ruining the fun for the honest players and banning them permanently.
By the way i never have and never will farm. I enjoy playing the game.Can't be bothered to just sit there and shoot a static person as well as in my opinion being ethically wrong, I'd rather watch paint dry!! -
I think it was a bit naive to get rid of farmers by just looking at the scores.
And the suggestion above won't work either: as a hero with some extra ammo you should be able to get 40 kills in a round with a decent backup team. With the odds of being a hero for three consecutive rounds makes 120 kills in just a few rounds. My opinion is that much care should be taken to avoid false positives when banning. Besides that i think that fixing the farming issue at the moment is really not a top priority.
What i'd like to see is that CF relies less on third party anti-hack measurements like xtrap but does some statistical analysis to catch hackers. i.e. it shouldn't be that hard to find out that certain players use a single bullet to kill a mutant with 11k hp. Both the hit registration and the amount of hp that each mutant has is available at the server. Doing some light analysis won't be such a burden for the server park and gets rid of the most obvious hackers. -

Apart from the grenade launcher which is great for DCing hacks. It doesn't matter to me so much if i am hero or not. I get more ammo with my rpk gold. And yeah when the damage goes up its easy to get 30 or more kills in one round because to double the power of the rpk gold makes lots of kills inevitable.
On the subject of people farming why can't Z8 just put a maximum GP limit for HM say after 150kills the gp stays the same,regardless of how many people you kill?
I wonder when some people hacking have 500 or 900 kills how much gp they got.
