My FIRST sig!
Ok guys so I had some free time and I made my FIRST signature. :P
I know it isn't the best, I know It looks stupid... XD
Say whatever it is my first one. It will get a lot better by the time.
I am visiting school for Photoshop editing, video filmings; so we got some lessons on effects and I tought Imma start making sigs.

Tip: start using brushes. Brushes will make your siggys look better.
Also, some effects wouldn't be bad.
I'm going to use some brushes as you said...
But me not using effect?
There are quite some of those used in signatures which I learned in school. -
they are nice, but i agree with that other guy, you need to use brushes, gradients and effects, cuz all you are doing is pasting images, fixing them and then putting you're name in it
I agree wiht brushes, but where th heck I didn't use effects? Cmon. Not that I am angry, but I didn't just paste the pictures and edited them. Sorry. -

On the first one, you made(i suppose) a background, pasted the two images and made then a little transparent, the you gave some glow to the bigger image and you got you're name in it
On the second one you have a background with a transparent maybe brush and another maybe brush above it and then you're name and images
On the third one, i won't say you did or did not make the background so i'll ignore it, and you pasted an image which you gave some glow to and you're name
now this is what i can see, where are the effects? The only "effect" used was glow, that i can see, im not very good at this either -

No one is professional at their first time, it takes a while before you can learn how to create proper images on photoshop (Or any editing programme).
Personally I never seen anyone do something perfectly on their first try.
OT: I like the 1st one a lot. Gengar is an amazing pokemon

Im not saying he should be professional, all i did was give him a suggestion, he said he agreed except with the effects part because he used effects, and now im asking where are those effects, i didn't mean to sound like a bad guy >.< -
