Hello Guys. I have the East Asian Language Pack downloaded on my pc. However, i still seemed to be unable to read/write chinese on cf. Anybody can solve that problem for me pls? Thanks.

This should be made in the Off Topic section. I don't think you need to download anything to type chinese on CF.. Um well I think you can just go to Control Panel and find the Language settings there.

Oh sorry if this is in the wrong section. But, I see people typing chinese in cf, and I cant seemed to read it, when I can read/write chinese properly when im in my other programs on my pc.

This what I do.

THIS IS WINDOWS XP

Start- Control Panel
Regional and Language Options
Advanced
Language for Non-Unicode Programs - "Whatever Language"
Make sure you also have Chinese checked off in the list below.

Using this process, I was able to make it so I could type Japanese. HOWEVER it works differently from language to language. Sometimes it uses the countries keyboard layout, so typing is VERY different.

Btw, You cant translate Chinese to English on Crossfire, mostly because Crossfire acts like a movie you can control.

Im Chinese,let me clearify this
Your computer might need a inpot to type Chinese,you can also have it in the Control Panel
For the reading thing,you might need something from microsoft,Im not sure
I type Chinese,for example:杯具啊。。。

I do have it checked.. but still didnt work for me.. -.-

what do u mean? Does the chinese input work for u in cf? Arg.. I feel like im the only one who can't get it working -.-
