I need to know this

maybe some1 had asked this but do grenade count as weapon, b/c I have 11 guns and 6 grenades, I checked the clan page and it shown that I HAVE the gun hobbyist ribbon (own 15 perm weapon). But now it is gone =.=, I just want to know if grenade count as weapon.
