Can't play in game

When I load up crossfire everything goes well until i click on join game. It goes to where it loads the map but the bar doesn't even fill halfway. It then goes black and goes back to the desktop. Any ideas? Oh, and I just started using game booster if that could be the problem. I searched but couldn't find any info. Any help is greatly appreciated.
