Why do i think we should move you ask?
Well just pop in the e8 and you will see. At times there are more non english speaking people than english speaking.
As to draw no more attention to this on the forums, lets leave this as the last post.
The hopefully get people using foxtrot8, if some1 is spamming 5v5 5v5 in e8 lobby say yes, but in fox 8, and ask them to move.
If this whole idea doesnt work then so be, at least i tried

to my understanding foxtrot server isnt in toronto -
I doubt translation issues in the form of text matter much, but there is some pretty hardcore social differences in play.not at all.
this game is entirely ping dependent and the pings are what dictate the majority of the reg issues. that coupled with the poor coding since it *IS* a translated game ported over, makes for problems with reg.
the amount of players in a crossfire channel/server won't affect it.
Korea being an extremely high developed country in a confined space, they didn't really have to account for distances the same way we're forced to.
This is on some basic levels though, doubt they'd be able to modify it for our infrastructure. (or be willing to anyways)
The fact that we get "Hi" instead of "cao" matters less.
As for the actual idea, I think the server was meant as some "low ping" alternative (just my instant reaction to it, possibly inaccurate) for Canadians in particular, as other nationalities have established their own 'regular' servers, so its a fine idea.
No need to make it an E8 replacement, just use it and make it pretty.. strict, in terms of who you let pub with you. 'They' will learn eventually. -

Thats a better idea. Dont move E8 as I dont like it. Lets start a better place to play than E8. A place for "equals" not "egos" -

Of course you should never play with unfriendly people regardless of channel.

I knew what you meant by "they" but i wasnt referring to the "they" part.
Then why cant we get 1 ping capped server if even a mod wants to get away from high pingers?

Ping caps isn't something you build in to the servers, its something you add to the game. Something extremely hard, since it was never an issue when the game was first built in Korea (where ping isn't an issue). -

So basically in a sense we are screwed? The servers are just flooded with laggers and its rare to find a game with all low pings. Its not going to deter me from playing but as of the last patch the high pingers are getting better reg than they were before.... and by better reg i mean they are regging before I can even reg.

Doop i cant comment on that. They say east coast, but i get the same ping. And the people i have spoken to have not seen a noticable differenceIt would be good if the players would relax and not have the ego they had in E8.

Maybe it does not need to be a replacement, but personally i feel e8 has lost what it is suppose to be. A scrim channel, with a few competitive pubs. So we have to stick to some strict rules. Basically WOGL rules.
Many poeple complain that things arent right with z8 etc. but never do something. So this is me trying to do something. -

I just find enforcing wogl rules in another server is not what I want i guess.
I understand no SL or M12s and maybe Kriss but the other guns are fine. -

^There fixed for you, But in all honesty this isn't a bad idea. There are so many brazillians and random pubstars who come in not using wogl approved weapons. Sure you can call it a QQ. But if their not even following the wogl rules or w/e. Why shouldn't we just go to alpha or what not? Same thing when people dont abide by the "wogl rules".

I'm sorry but i'm goin to have to contradict you. First you are right there is no rule or what not saying only WOGL guns. "egotistical kids" however is not true.
e8 was made by the more competitive part of the community who like to play with the rules of WOGL, and did not like getting killed by guns which are OP. In this way the channel is a great environment to practice and get better. Ego has nothing to do with it.

You are right however that some poeple in this channel do have egos. But ego goes in every walk of life. We just have to get used to it.
OP makes you better maybe. But good players with OP guns, surely unfair??
