Reporting Time.
This is not a QQ or a flame or anything else about whining to z8games. A few days ago, I had sent in about 4 cheating reports. I checked the profiles before I reported and saw that non of them had the honorable soldier ribbon. So I went to the support and sent in the report tickets... It's been about 4 days since the ticket has been sent (I know that's not a lot of time) and I looked at the profiles and saw that 3 of them played yesterday and another one played today.
So my 2 questions are:
1. Is a confirmed report a perma-ban? (as far as I know I think it is)
2. How long does it take for the staff to see the replays in a weeks time?
I know that the reports are many and many and I am not QQing because my report hasn't been seen yet. I just want to know on average, how many cheating reports are taken care of during a weeks time?

Just reinforce what saidin has said, and to highlight the point for other readers of this thread.
360ing aimbotting is normally very easy to spot, so these people can be banned easily. But the time to conclude some1 is aimbotting can be difficult, as it may not be every shot, so Mods/staff have to watch very carefully. It is even more difficult in SnDs as the 360 may not take affect till near the end. (This is for all illegal activity, waiting for the correct round for when they hack takes time. So it is important to get the correct info when reporting)
As for walling, this can be slightly more difficult. The staff have to conclude if the person is truly hacking or is just getting lucky.
A lot of people prefire corners and boxes, so to new players it may seem like these more experienced players are walling.
Basically the whole process is rather more complex than people may think.
So be patient when waiting for a report to be acted upon.
Do to this the number of reports reviewed throughout the week is variable. -
i know is hard but.... i send many reports with players who shoot us from the wall and is very easy to see they was hakers and this report was for to long time with no consequence...now if is hard to demonstrate take long time and if is easy take long time where is the difference?

In the reporting page, it reads: There is no reply to hack reports. So you don't know whether or not it has been reviewed.i know is hard but.... i send many reports with players who shoot us from the wall and is very easy to see they was hakers and this report was for to long time with no consequence...now if is hard to demonstrate take long time and if is easy take long time where is the difference?

There are a lot of reports sent in like saidin said, and thus it takes time. If you think about it, each report takes more than likely half an hour to watch, then another 10 to 20 mins to confirm and do the admin/ paper work. So lets say each report takes about 40mins to do (it could be longer. Then to get through the number of reports that are sent in would mean that the staff would have to work 24/7.
As you can see Saidin is given out more Mod status to people, so in time the report process will be quicker.
They have already developed a new report system which cuts the time to report and review the report in half.
I'm sure they are doing all they can -
I agree, but there needs to be a different system in place which reviews the blatant hackers first. For example, 1 shotting is very easy to tell... I mean killed by uzi from across Egypt is not something that happens often... and glitching the boxs/walls etc...
I understand that walling and aimbot and others take time to actually conclude that the person is in fact hacking, but IMO there are way more 1 shoters / glitchers (boxs/walls), which can be banned without much discussion than there are wallers which take a lot of time to ban. -

Agreed on the idea.
They need to develop some small piece of code to scan the replay.
1 shot kill can be easily and accurate detected, because the weapon used and damage created are easy to calculate.
Glitching in structure, falling under sea level, walking through wall can also be detected by the calculation.
In fact, aimbot and waller can also be efficiently detected with proper setting.
Most aimbot can do lots of kills in short time, they have a period of time to rotate fast to some angle they can not see in previous shot, and their choice of kill is not based on what they see, I guess the code kill the enemy in certain order, either the order to enter the game, or by name. That is why when you see an aimbotter's replay, you know he hacks because normal human being will aim the close target.
Most of the time, waller will aim at enemy before they run to the open place. If they choose camp and shoot the corner, it will very hard to detect, even the replay is reviewed by an experienced player, he can not tell that too, unless he fired before the victim really get out of hiding.
As I said, the piece of code and logic can be applied in the game in several stage, in near future, support team can use it to handle large amount of report. Then it can be integrated into game client, and be called whenever someone want to start a vote kick or plan to submit a replay. And it is an different method than x-trap. It can not prevent hacker, but it can detect hacker efficiently, so that have they banned or kick out of game. -
less fake report
restrict the power for all new players to make report( they don t know difference to a haker and pro players) and u will have less fake reports to solve .i bet u have many reports from players who is in cf community less then a mount (noobs)
