Suggestion: How to manage feedback

THE PROBLEM:
The forums could do with less low-quality posts as well as useless suggestions/feature demands. Recently, they have been flooded with spam.
THE SOLUTION:
I believe Z8Games is interested in user suggestions - at the moment, there just isn't an effective way of coping with all this input.
So, we need a way of moving suggestions and demands from the forum to an environment better suited for them: A feature voting service, which allows users (CF players) to post suggestions and vote for them. For example:
This would save our overworked moderators lots of trouble, and give the development team a good idea of what the community really wants (by viewing the top requested features in an organised way).

- Google Moderator (free)
- BetaEasy (free and paid plans)
- Get Satisfaction (paid)
- Idea Informer (free)

It would be a good idea, but....
1) Most of the ideas posted are complete rubbish.
2) A lot of people want stuff that Z8 doesn't want. Just think of all the 'remove vote kick' and 'give us more stuff for free' threads. So 9 out of 10 top suggestions would be suggestions they'd ignore... -
It will be nice to get a Voting system, but for mature Ideas only
the Voting system don't allow u to edit or add features to ur vote, it's just yes or no
so u won't get ppl adding and completing or even reducing the Idea standards to the applicable limit for Z8 to conceder... which would make most of our ideas a waste :'(

Both are valid points, but all the voting systems I mentioned would allow Z8 to remove/block suggestions that are inappropriate etc.the Voting system don't allow u to edit or add features to ur vote, it's just yes or no
Actually, some of the mentioned systems allow comments - the suggestions can then be updated/changed according to the comments

I don't quite understand what you mean by "reducing Idea standards" ... can't make sense of the rest either
