Searching for a new laptop
I'm heading off to college in a couple months, so I'm looking to get a new laptop that is suitable for everyday tasks and playing games (CrossFire/BlackOps/GunZ).
I'm looking for a laptop that has/is:
-14" screen (13" is fine too)
-Gaming suitable (preferably DDR3 RAM+1gb gfx card)
-i5/i7 processor (is there anything better than i7 right now?)
-Long battery life when running simple programs like msword/AIM/Xfire (5+ hours)
-Lightweight/Portable (~5 lbs or less)
I know I'm asking for a lot, but I've got a pretty hefty budget that depends on which colleges I get accepted to. As of right now, I can buy something in the $1,000-$1,300 range, but if I get into a very prestigious college, then my budget increases to ~$2000.
Any recommendations? Or should I wait a bit for the "next big thing" comes out for laptops?

All of those are 11" (too small) and my parents would never pay for a laptop that's specifically tailored for gaming.
