It appears that your graphics card driver refuses to be resized or Crossfire doesn't recognize that it can resize your resolution. When you play at 800x600 does it scale fine? Or another thing you could do is Right Click on Desktop > Properties > (Resolution) > And set it to 800x600. Restart CrossFire and try applying fullscreen again.

Take your resolution up to the standard of your monitor, if you have a 22 inch widescreen you dont want to run 800x600.
